ORLANDO MAGIC’S PAOLO BANCHERO NAMED NBA’S EASTERN CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Orlando, FL – The NBA has announced that Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero has been named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Mar. 30, 2025. It marks the second time that Banchero has won the league’s top weekly honor during his career (also won it for the period ending Nov. 26, 2023).

During four games last week (Mar. 24-30), Banchero averaged 30.3 ppg., 7.5 rpg. and 4.3 apg. in 35.6 minpg., while shooting .543 (44-81) from the field and helping Orlando post a 3-1 record. He led (or tied) the Magic in scoring three times, in rebounding once and in assists three times. Banchero scored 20+ points in all four games and had 30+ points three times. He has scored 20+ points in 16 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 25. Banchero also scored 30+ points in five straight outings from Mar. 19-27, tied for the fourth-longest streak in franchise history.
Banchero has played and started in 41 games this season for Orlando, averaging 25.9 ppg., 7.2 rpg. and 4.7 apg. in 34.3 minpg. He has led (or tied) the Magic in scoring 23 times, in rebounding 10 times and in assists 25 times. Banchero has scored in double figures 39 times, 20+ points 31 times, 30+ points 16 times and 40+ points four times, including a career-high 50 points on Oct. 28 vs. Indiana.
